At Pirie, we aim to be a part of organizations in our community that align with our mission and our values. We are proud to be a Bronze sponsor of the inaugural NESSBE Health of Place program that will discuss how the built environment can promote health and wellbeing.
The inaugural NESSBE (Northeast Summit for a Sustainable Built Environment) will take place in New Haven, CT on April 28-29, 2017 and will start the conversation that reveals the inextricable connection of sustainable design and improving and supporting human health and wellbeing. There will be a series of keynote speakers that will focus on health and happiness, biophilia, biomimicry, energy and water conservation, materials, and resilience—all topics that are important Pirie's core mission.
We are also proud of own Melissa Kops who is the Chair of the Organizing Committee for this event. To learn more about the program and register, visit www.nessbe.net. We look forward to seeing you there, and of course, please say hello!
