We have the pleasure of working with a powerhouse of collaborators to bring artful energy generation and placemaking to Willimantic, CT.
After spending hours in the community gathering input and support from those who the project touches most, we’re excited to work with Willimantic Whitewater Partnership and Land Art Generator Initiative, with The Institute for Sustainable Energy at Eastern CT State University, and the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development on Rio Iluminado, a project with a purpose: to reconnect a City to its River. Rio Iluminado is a great example of our transformative design process – an approach that triggers change in both awareness and action. The change can be subtle or bold and empowers the client to engage their environment and themselves in a new way.
