![image001](https://www.pirieassociates.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image001.jpg?width=290&name=image001.jpg)On Thursday, October 17th, [Pirie Associates’](https://www.pirieassociates.com/) own [Melissa Kops](https://www.pirieassociates.com/melissa-arminio-kops-at-pirie-associates-architects-connecticut) presented an amazing remedy to all that ails: environments that actually create health and well-being for their occupants!

As part of the [City Wide Open Studios](https://artspacenewhaven.org/cwos-home/), [Pecha Kucha New Haven](https://www.pechakucha.org/cities/new-haven/events/5b915a202dd171156e4bae6f) hosted Melissa and about 20 others to share their particular form of magical remedies.  Presentations varied widely, from personal experiences of loss, to remembrances of Woodstock, to Melissa’s introduction of health and well-being as a framework for making places that heal humans and the places where we work, live and play.

Bravo Melissa!
